What Pushover does

Pushover is a simple push-notification app for time-sensitive alerts on your phone, tablet, and desktop. It is a strong fit for Perfect Game Tracker because no-hit and perfect-game watches are only useful if you notice them quickly.

Pushover currently uses a low-cost app model for personal use and publishes its own API limits. Check Pushover.net for current details.

How Perfect Game Tracker uses it

Pushover sends messages using two values:

  • User Key — identifies your Pushover account/device destination.
  • Application/API Token — identifies the app sending the alert.

Perfect Game Tracker lets you provide your own values. That keeps alert sending under your Pushover account and limits instead of a shared Perfect Game Tracker pool.

Saved Pushover values are masked when displayed. Perfect Game Tracker does not sell or share your Pushover credentials. You can update, disable, or clear Pushover settings from your account page.

Setup steps

  1. Create or log into your Pushover account.
  2. Install and activate the Pushover app on your phone.
  3. Find your User Key on the Pushover dashboard.
  4. Create a new Pushover application, such as Perfect Game Tracker Alerts.
  5. Copy the application/API token.
  6. Paste both values into your Perfect Game Tracker account page.
  7. Use Save and send test before relying on live game alerts.

Limits and third-party note

Pushover publishes its own current pricing, app licensing, and API usage limits. Check Pushover before relying on it for high-volume alerts.

Perfect Game Tracker is not affiliated with Pushover and does not control Pushover pricing, delivery rules, or platform limits.

Manage your settings

User-managed Pushover settings are available on your account page. You can save, test, update, disable, or clear your values there.
